New and used tires, fitted in Waldorf
Tires fitted properly, a straight answer about whether you need new ones, and the old ones taken away responsibly.
Tires, new and used
You need a tire, or four. These are the pages that say what we stock and how to work out which one you actually want.
When the tire you have has a problem
Something has gone wrong with a tire you already own, or you have old ones to get rid of.

What we cover
- New tires across the common car, truck and SUV sizes.
- Inspected used tires in a range of sizes.

I had a fantastic experience at Tajo Tire! Bekaud and his team were professional, quick, and very knowledgeable. They helped me find the perfect set of tires for my car at a great price. Highly recommend!
I came in for a tire replacement, and the team at Tajo Tire had me back on the road in no time. The pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Bekaud and his crew were upfront about pricing and gave me great advice on maintaining my tires. It’s hard to find a shop you can trust, but Tajo Tire is definitely one of them!
Why people come here
A Waldorf shop that stocks both new and used, will tell you which one you actually need, and is open seven days.
New and used, side by side
Most tire shops push you toward one or the other. Keeping both means the answer can be a single inspected used tire matched to the three already on your car, when that is genuinely the sensible fix.
Repair before replacement
A nail through the tread is usually patchable. We will look before selling you anything, and show you the damage if it turns out the tire cannot safely be saved.
Open seven days
Including Sundays, which is when most people discover a soft tire and find their usual place shut.
The old ones go properly
Scrap tires are not taken in household collection in Maryland and they hold standing water. Drop them here and they go for recycling.
From the call to the wheel back on
Call or text the shop
Tell us the size off the sidewall — the string that looks like 225/65R17 — and what the car is doing. That is enough for us to say what is on the shelf before you drive over.
We look at the tire
A puncture gets inspected to see whether it is repairable. A worn set gets tread depth read across the full width, not at one point, because uneven wear tells you something a single reading hides.
You hear the options
Repair, a used tire, or new — and which of those we would actually do if it were our car. If a repair will hold, we will say so rather than sell you a tire.
Fitted and balanced
Tires are fitted here and each wheel is balanced as it goes back on. Old tires can stay with us for recycling.
